No. 100% of the net donations received for this campaign are dedicated to supporting Marty and his family, minus only unavoidable payment processing fees charged by banks/platforms.

Q: What happens to the money if more is raised than Marty needs?

Accepted Answer

Any remaining funds, after Marty’s needs are covered, will either (a) stay reserved for his ongoing care, or (b) with his family’s agreement, be moved into the general PGKA Hope Fund to help other PGKA family members in similar situations.

We will keep the community informed about the progress of the campaign and Marty’s situation. When the fundraiser ends, we will share a general update summarizing how the support helped Marty and his family.

Players are generally responsible for covering their own travel expenses, including flights, accommodations, and tournament fees. However, PGKA and PAMA are constantly working to support players and teams—whether through sponsorships, discounts, or group rates—to help reduce overall costs. We’re committed to making these experiences as accessible as possible and will guide you every step of the way.

Each trip may vary, but packages typically include tournament registration,  uniforms, free camps, Pama experiences and coaching. Full details are shared for each specific event.

Depending on your nationality and the destination, you may need a visa or travel authorization. If you have any questions, please make sure you contact the consulate of the country are you traveling to.

Team placement depends on the tournament, your age group, skill level, and roster availability.
We also consider your history in our system—players who are already in our PGKA database or part of an official PGKA club have priority when assigning spots.
In general:
 • PGKA teams focus on player development, international experience, and inclusion.
 • PAMA teams are more competitive and may require coach invitation or higher-level experience.
Once you apply, our staff will review your profile, playing history, and current team affiliation to place you on the team that fits you best.
