This is a beginners drill focusing on proper technique to push the puck with one hand on the stick. Player dumps the puck in front of him and then skates to it and pushes it with the back of his blade in front of his body. Go for a shot on the other side.
The key points are:
- Use arm swings forward
- Control puck with one hand on the stick
- Push puck with back of your blade
- Move feet, go fast
- Heads up
