This is a warm up drill that can be used for game warm ups too.
A player starts with a puck from the side boards at the center line and passes to the first player in line in the corner. After the pass go low and turn on backwards and then receive the puck back.
Skating backwards try to turn to forwards with the puck on your backhand. Then skate towards the net for a shot.
The key points are:
- focus on proper turns
- control puck at all times
- proper turn with puck on backhand side
