Start with a quick D to D and then up to on of the forwards. A D will add a little pressure to the two forwards which will do a re-group after
passing the center line. The the first D on each side will be an outlet to initiate the re-group and join the offense rush 3on1.
The D that put pressure on the two forwards will jump in the play on the other side to make it a 4on1.
The key points are:
- Read the rush and provide net drive and passing options
- Smooth pivots and passing by D
- Forwards pivot with their eyes on puck
