Players play 2on2 or 3on3 in a designated area (e.g. 1/3) with several gates (marked by 2 cones). To score, players must complete a pass with their teammate through one of the gates.
Depending on the number of players you can divide the entire rink into several areas with gates.
For more advanced players the cones can be placed closer to each other to make it harder to score.
The key points are:
- find the empty space
- get to an open gate
- find the open player
- pass through the gate
- good timing for passes
